No Line on the Horizon is the twelfth studio album by Irish rock band U2, released on 27 February 2009. It is most certainly an Epic Album. This is U2′s first since 2004′s , How to Dismantle and Atomic Bomb, the longest gap between studio albums in the band’s career. The material was originally intended to be released as two Eps, titled Daylight and Darkness, but the band later decided to combine them into one album.
U2 began work on a new studio album in 2006 with Rick Rubin but later decided to shelve most of the material from those sessions. The band collaborated with producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois from June 2007–December 2008 for the album, allowing them to be involved in the songwriting process. Writing and recording for the album took place in four different cities. The album was planned for release in November 2008, but the band had written approximately 50–60 songs and wished to continue writing.
U2 is the type of band who definately has a signature sound and feel. The difference with this particular album is that they have evolved into more than just your average rock band. The entire band seems to have become a bit more free in how they write, record and get their message across. If you are a true U2 fan, which I am, you can almost envision yourself in the studio with them as they were writing, testing and rehearsing the new songs. The vibe and tempo is melodic for some tracks and traditional U2 style Irish rocking on others. It’s a very well thought out and finely tuned array of soul searching ballads as well as some good ole fashion U2 version of Rock N Roll. The Edge seems to get better as the years go by. The man is simply amazing on guitar! Bono, Adam and Larry are still as phenominal as always.
I became a fan of U2 when I first heard the song ” Sunday Bloody Sunday” and then when the album “Joshua Tree” came out in 1987 the deal was sealed. I have never turned back. As you can see neither has the band. It doesn’t appear as though they are coming back to St Louis, Mo on the upcoming tour but maybe if I’m lucky there will be a change in plans. Nothing stopping me from going to see them In Chigago though. I have found a copy of the Upcoming U2 Tour in Europe as well as the US and listed them below.

Lyrics for Single: No Line On The Horizon
I watch her changing every day for me
Oh yeah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
One day she’s still, the next she swells
You can hear the universe in her sea shells
Oh Yeah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
No, no line on the horizon, no line
I know a girl with a hole in her heart
She said infinity is great place to start
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
She said “Time is irrelevant, it’s not linear”
Then she put her tongue in my ear
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
No, no line on the horizon
No, no line
No, no line on the horizon
No, no line
The songs in your head are now on my mind
You put me on pause
I’m trying to rewind and replay
Every night I have the same dream
I’m hatching some plot, scheming some scheme
Oh yeah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
I’m a traffic cop, rue du Marais
The sirens are wailing but it’s me that wants to get away
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
No, no line on the horizon
No, no line
No, no line on the horizon
No, no line
