Tag: targeted website traffic
This post was previously titled “Auto Mass Website Traffic My A**” because I was so very angry when writing this article.
I have since changed the title to “Auto Mass Website Traffic Scams” now that I ‘m over my anger.
It’s just that I sometimes become completely exhausted reading all the scams designed specifically to take advantage of new webmasters trying to increase their website traffic so I felt a need to try and help some of you either keep your money or spend it in a more productive way.
I also know those of you reading this blog are intelligent people and by now should fully understand that you absolutely can’t earn a serious amount of money online unless you have a large steady stream of targeted website traffic.
The problem is there are too many seasoned marketers who are all too willing to take advantage of the new guy.
Just do yourself a favor and don’t fall for the auto mass website traffic scams that many new marketers are falling for.
You know the type I’m talking about. It’s usually a long squeeze page or sales page sent directly to your email. They’re set up to specifically sell a clickbank product with the promise that as soon as you pay you will have hundreds of thousands of visitors coming to your site to buy your affiliate products.
Take it from somebody who’s been at this business for quite some time now.
It’s just not real!
I understand the page looks professional and with a money back guarantee how could you go wrong?
But trust me when I say there’s only two ways to get auto mass website traffic.
One way is to buy it through a pay per click program such as Google AdWords and Facebook Ads or you could use a less expensive alternative traffic source. This way you can target for specific products and decide just how much you want to increase your website traffic. There really are people searching for your products and those are the kind of visitors you want.
The other way is to actually spend some time doing real SEO work getting your articles and web pages to the first page of the search engines namely Google, Bing and Yahoo. It involves keyword research, building quality backlinks by providing real content that interested readers want and doing the proper on page optimization. If you don’t understand the process of on page optimization then I highly advise you start learning. You can begin at the Search Engine Journal.
I have had some luck with some traffic exchanges as well but you have to be choosy because some of them are a waste of time with very little traffic generation. The traffic exchanges I do use and trust are posted all over this blog and the website. I’m sure you’ve noticed the links.
Thinking about it…. I guess that’s really (3) ways to get mass auto website traffic. Oh well…three is better than two.
That’s it….these are the only real ways that I’ve found to get true auto mass website traffic. You can buy it, you can share it or you can increase website traffic with good old fashion SEO and hard work. The rest is all a bunch of trash designed specifically for the purpose of getting your credit card number. However, we’re always open to new ideas if you’ve stumbled across others that are proven.
Hopefully once you do finally get the amount of website traffic you need you’ll treat your visitors well and not try to take advantage of them.
Don’t take choosing your domain name lightly. Rest assured, the profitability of your online business hinges on the name you choose. The single best piece of advice I can give you is to make choosing a domain name for your site special. Take this task seriously while you’re starting your business website! Any Internet based business can be profitable after a diligent amount of research, hard work and effort but it can be much more profitable and decisively quicker based on the domain name that you choose.
The reason for this is because having a profitable online business is all about getting targeted visitors to your website or blog. A site with 250 daily unique targeted visitors can earn just as much money if not more than a site with 1000 daily un-targeted visitors.
If you don’t already have a well established online business you should know that it has much to do with targeting a niche market and narrowing certain words down that are used by people searching for the product of that particular niche. Most people use a keyword tool to determine what words are searched most often.
Targeted visitors are acquired either by organic keyword search or paid keyword search. By applying this technique you are actively seeking visitors by creating ads or links using the keywords that your visitors are most likely to type into the search box.
For example, if your business specializes in duct tape then you may want to seriously consider using the term “duct tape” in your domain name. By doing so you are greatly increasing the chance that your site shows up whenever anybody types the term “duct tape” into a search box. You should also be creating ads and links with more specific keywords such as “red duct tape” or “best duct tape”.
The point, however, still remains the same. If you want to specialize in selling duct tape online then you are definitely going to want to use the term “duct tape” in your domain name. If your name is Jake then your domain name could possibly be DuctTapeByJake.com. Easy right? Notice I put the words Duct Tape before the word Jake. This is because I want the search engines to know that “duct tape” is the most important term.
Try to keep the domain name simple and not too long. Even with all of today’s new Internet technology you still want your domain to be easy to remember. It’s much easier for somebody to recommend DuctTapeByJake.com than it is for them to remember and recommend DuctTapeInAllSizes&Colors119076.com.
Either way, when your domain name consist of one or two of your site’s primary keywords you are absolutely going to have much more targeted website traffic as long as you are applying the right amount of keyword density throughout your content. The end result will be a more profitable online business.
Now… let’s say that you are in the duct tape business but you instead opt to choose JakesTapes.com as your domain name. This isn’t a terrible name but you need to understand that it may be much harder for you to get targeted traffic to the site. Search engines and people may mistake the site for a business that sells cassette tapes or possibly even other tapes such as masking tape or scotch tape. You might get a bunch more traffic but a good portion of the traffic will arrive and leave quickly because it’s not what the visitor was actually looking for. Essentially you’re working harder for less sales and that’s no good!
Many people ask how Google got away with naming their domain Google.com. The answer is by way of excellent business branding. They branded that name Google very well before it became the world’s most popular search engine.
It’s okay to go with a completely off the wall domain name if you are (A) already a well established business or (B) you understand it’s going to be a much longer tougher road attracting targeted website customers or (C) You have tons of money to pay for PPC advertising and other paid targeted SEM plans. Of course, you always have one or two people like me who are just gluttons for punishment and simply must do things the hard way. Actually I chose the name of this site because I thought it might be memorable and it was also before I knew everything I now know about domain names and traffic.
The idea is to be smart and do your research before you just pick any old domain name.
You’ll be very happy you did later on in the process.
How long till I get paid was the first question I had also when I first started learning about affiliate sales and Internet Marketing. Everybody wants to make money so this is an understandable question.
The answer, however, is a little more complicated than that.
There are many variables that will ultimately decide how long it will take a person to start making money as an online affiliate for any company.
For Instance…Is your website designed to be profitable and easy to navigate? Do you even have a website and a blog? Is it just you working alone or do you have a team of people working with you? How much money do you have to invest? If you have little money to invest in your business, are you at least willing to invest a serious amount of your own quality time? Do you have plenty of targeted website traffic?
Does your site make it available for your customers and visitors to opt-in to your newsletter?
As you can probably tell, I could go on with the questions!
Now lets instead discuss facts.
The fact is that most affiliates, up to 97%, fail to ever make money with affiliate marketing or any other type of Internet Marketing. This is because they are working by themselves and lack the personal commitment it takes to develop a real working knowledge of online marketing.
Another fact……As with any other serious business, monetary gain will take place when relationships are built and trust is earned. You can build those relationships and that trust very fast with disposable money and extra people or you can build it slower with less money and on your own.
Either way…. it must be built!
Now, more than ever before in history, the business of Internet Marketing and online affiliate sales can be extremely lucrative for those who are willing to gain the knowledge and put forth the effort required to be successful at it .
Instead of asking “how long does it take for online affiliates to make money”……. try telling yourself who cares if it takes 2 months or 2 years.
Just know that if you’re committed to what you do and also enjoy your work while remaining sure to keep it about helping others you can’t go wrong.
Any online affiliate or Internet Marketer who can grasp that will earn droves of money over time.

I’ve recently found the most innovative way of building an incredible amount of Google safe yet free one way backlinks while at the same time driving serious amounts of targeted traffic to your website. Generally speaking, when I find a new program I will usually just put a link on my site and let everybody check it out but ever so often I come across a true gem that I really need to elaborate on.
If you visit a site by the name of FreeTrafficSystem.com you can read and learn more about it but I will try to give you the basics. The word “free” really stood out to me. Who doesn’t like free?
Basically all you need to do is register at their website, set up your keywords and enter your website or blog address. Then write some articles for other bloggers to use on their site. You can pick the niche and keywords that you want to target and get up to 120 one way backlinks to your site for each article. They have thousands of bloggers waiting for new articles with valuable content.
Get enough targeted backlinks and it will drive your own site to the top of the page for Google, Yahoo and Bing. The top of the page is where you want to be to get the most visitors and in return earn more money.
What’s more is they have a two tier affiliate program you can sign up for to earn money and get even more backlinks when you send people to the site with your affiliate link.
You would only get paid if the visitor signs up for the PRO Membership account but you will continue to get free backlinks from any member you refer who actively participates and writes articles for the network to use. The PRO members can get up to 720 targeted backlinks per article and also enjoys quite a few more benefits like priority support and moderation, access to exclusive SEO info, discounts on special services and so forth.
For those of you with business websites or blogs who are lacking in the targeted traffic and backlink department, I highly recommend checking into this as soon as you can. This company has impressed me enough to join and even write a blog post about them. They have a huge network, very informative “how to videos” and seem to really have their act together.
